Arturo Arce Flores

Arturo Flores (age 66), has passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

He retired as a foreman for Alamo Community College after 15 years of service. He loved to cook, ranch, and remodel homes on his spare time. He and his wife loved to travel and go on adventurers with family and friends, and his passion since he was young was going to the rodeo and watching bull riding.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Irma J. Flores, and his daughters; Priscilla, and Belinda, his step-sons; Michael Anthony Moreno (Valerie), and Francisco Reyes. He is also survived by his siblings, Noe Rogelio Flores, Armando Flores, Elida Flores, Norma Marxkors, Mary Flores, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arturo was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank Pacific Hospice for their support, and a heartfelt thanks to Elida (travelled from California), cousins; Ruth and James Carey who traveled from Fremont, Nebraska to help care for Art.

We would also like to thank all the family and friends that supported Irma and Art during this time in their lives. May God bless everyone for their expressions of love.

A Rosary will be held in his honor at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devine, Texas, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 9:30a.m. with Mass celebrated at 10:00a.m. Services will conclude that the church.
