Bonney "Big Barney or Barney" Rudolph Finn, Sr.

Bonney(Big Barney or Barney)Rudolph Finn Sr, 61, passed away in his home in Devine, Texas on February 13, 2022. 

 

Barney was preceded in death by his parents Quincy and Helen Finn, his brother William Michael Finn, and his grandson Ryder Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda Finn; his children: Jerimiah Adkins, Barney [Brittany] Finn Jr, Shannon Finn, and Jacqueline [James] Shugart; his grandchildren: Joey, Casey, Haley, Autumn, Gavin, Kylie, Shelby, and River; his siblings, John E. Finn Sr, Helen Annette Finn and Olivia(Mitzi) Finn; and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Barney was an auto technician by trade but also in his heart. His love of cars was the root of so many relationships and memories for everyone who knew him. Barney was a man that saw the good in everyone and always helped when he could; always putting others first. His children were always his first priority but also took in the family as if they were his children. He had a great sense of humor and told corny jokes but also had a protective nature that extended to everyone he cared for. He was so proud of each of his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

 

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Details to follow once plans are made.
