Carmen Valle Lucio

Carmen V. Lucio 64 of Pearsall died November 22, 2020 in Pearsall. She was born and raised in Pearsall to Miguel G. Valle and Corina Cantu.

She is preceded in death by Juanita Valle and Mary Valle. She is survived by her siblings Miguel G. Valle Jr., Corina Perez, Reyna Valle, Cris Perez, Santos Valle and Andrew Valle. She is also survived by her four children, 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild Julianne V. Cantu, Oscar Cantu Jr., Jose R. Hernandez III - great grandson Jaxon Daniel Hernandez, Shawnathan T. Hernandez, Sylvester T. Hernandez, Aristeo Lopez Jr. and daughter-in-law Angelic Lopez, Malachi S. Lopez, Elijah I. Lopez, Damian M. Lopez, Armani U. Lopez, Juan Miguel Lucio, Johniven M. Lucio, Aiden M Lucio, Adlyn M Lucio, Valerie L Castro and son-in-law Aaron Castro, Aaron Michael Castro Jr. and Elliot X. Castro.

She worked the majority of her adult life in nursing homes and became an activity director for 13 years. She was always dedicated to her work and loved her residents.

She will always be remembered by her family and loved ones for her bright smile, wisdom, humor, and never ending love and strength.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 29 from 2 to 9 p.m. Due to COVID-19 those attending must follow CDC guidelines as well as local mandates. Masks and social distancing are required to attend services.
