Celia Rodriguez

Celia D. Rodriguez of Devine, TX beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went Home to be with our Lord at the age of 87 on March 6, 2021 surrounded by family. Born on November 29, 1933 to Simon & Maria De La Luz Delgado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Esteban Rodriguez, her parents Simon & Maria De La Luz Delgado, and sisters, Inez Trevino, Maria Esquivel, Teresita Delgado, brothers, Apolinar Delgado, Simon Delgado, Jose Delgado, Guillermo Delgado, Eliseo Delgado, grandchild, Andy Castillo, and great-grandchild, Anthony JoséMaría Rodriguez.

Survived by her sister, Dolores and Jose Ortiz, children, Gabino and Gladys Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Maria De La Luz and Leonard Castillo, Renato and Helen Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, George and Bernice Rodriguez, Bernadita and Ernesto Chavira, Jose Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, and Jesus Rodriguez, 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will take place at Hurley Funeral Home on Thursday 11^th of March from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Devine, TX; the rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.  Mass services will be 12^th of March at 10:00 AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, TX. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

At the request of the family, masks will be required.
