Clark Dillard Sadler, age 101 of Bigfoot, Texas passed away June 3, 2021. He was born on October 16, 1919, to parents, Andrew Jackson Dillard Sadler and Idella Maude Wingate Sadler in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He was the 9th of 12 children.
Clark spent thirty-five years in law enforcement in Frio County and his entire life as a Farmer and Rancher.
Clark is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Idella Sadler; his first wife Hazel Muriel McMickle Sadler; son Clark Earl “Corky" Sadler, stepson Thomas Ray Stricker; sisters, Ada Housley, Jimmie Wilson, Velma Coggin, Eunice Shoemake, and Eloise Heath; brothers George Sadler, Ernest Sadler, Andrew Sadler Jr. and James Sadler.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Fudge Sadler; daughter LaVerne “Tudy" Sadler Evans, daughter in law Sharron K. Sadler, nephew Earl Wayne Heath (Pam), stepchildren Lee Roy (Linda) Stricker, Ralph (Coral) Stricker, Charles (Tonya) Stricker, Cheryl (David) Parker, Jeanie Harrop, Jeff (Renee) Harrop, Carolyn (Bobby) Mueller, James (Jodi) Stricker, Dennis Stricker. 6 grandchildren Ronnie (Darlene) Evans, Robin (Gil) Cason, Justin Sadler, Dwight (Angela) Sadler, Hollie (Matt) Counts, Joseph (Erica) Sadler, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Memorial service will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home Devine, Texas.
