Cynthia H. Lopez, who was affectionately known as Cindy, passed away on May 18th, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 3rd, 1959 in Castroville, Texas. Cynthia's passing has left a deep impact on her loved ones and everyone who knew her.
Throughout her life journey, Cindy touched countless lives with her warm smile and caring heart. She had a magnetic personality that drew people towards her wherever she went. Her passion for life and unwavering dedication to putting others first was truly inspiring.
Cindy's kind-hearted nature was evident from a young age, and she carried it with her throughout her life. Her infectious laugh brought joy to those around her and she was always there with open arms ready to provide comfort and support.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ignacio Lopez; daughters Leslie Castro and Sebastian (son-in-law); Amy Martinez and Jaime (son-in-law); grandchildren, Isaiah, Senaida, Arissa, Isabella, Caleb, Amelia, Cynthia, Julianna siblings, Fermin Hernandez Jr. (Irene), Diana Casias (Ernest), Elizabeth Perez (Roger); numerous nieces and nephews; an extended loving family; as well as numerous cat fur babies.
Family came first for Cindy - she cherished spending time with them more than anything else in the world. She also valued the friendships she made throughout her life. Her positivity shone brightly in the darkest of times when those around her needed it most.
Cindy's parents have preceded her in death but kept their daughter's values alive within her until the end of her days.
The loss of Cindy leaves a void that will never be filled in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Those closest to Cindy will treasure their memories, and her legacy of kindness and warmth will live on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
Your loved ones will always cherish your memory and celebrate your new life.

A visitation will be on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 8:00am to 10:00am at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle, Texas followed by a graveside service at 11:00am in First Memorial Park Cemetery in Von Ormy, Texas.
