Daniel Contreras

Daniel Contreras, of San Antonio Texas, Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on April 17, 2025 at the age of 72.

Born September 27, 1952, Daniel Lived a life full of Love, Family, and Faith.

Daniel is survived by his spouse Maria S. Contreras, His children; Rosemary Jean Alcorta (Oscar), Marisabel Contreras (Bryan), Melissa Bianca Contreras, and Jonathon Castillo. Daniel is also survived by his Son In Law, Conrad, as well as his siblings Yolanda C. Gonzalez, Margaret Contreras, Anna Emery, Dora J. Contreras, Marcos A. Contreras, and Alexander C. Contreras. Lastly, Daniel is survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents Marcos R. and Maria C. Contreras, His daughter, Jamie Ida Pearl Cortez, His son, Danny Jesse Contreras, as well as his brother, Santiago (Jimmy Lee) Contreras, and sister, Theodora M. Sanchez.

There will be a visitation on April 25, 2025 From 9:00 AM to 10:00AM At primrose funeral services in Lytle Texas. Immediately afterwards there will be a Funeral Service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately after at Lytle Community Cemetery.

Daniel lived a life full of love and devotion—as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson, son, and friend. His presence brought warmth to every heart he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the love we carry and the memories we cherish. A man of steadfast faith and integrity, we rejoice in knowing he is home with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again.
