Daniel F. Mendez Jr. age 51 of Natalia peacefully went to be with his parents, Wednesday April 28, 2021 in San Antonio Tx. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Mendez Sr. and Janie Mendez. Daniel is survived by his wife of 32 years, Michelle Mendez, children, Nathan Mendez, Jonathan Mendez and wife Sabrina Sanchez, Alyssa Mendez and fiancé Jonathan Guajardo, grandchildren, Gabriella Mendez, Weston Kyle, Jocelyn Guajardo, Grayson Ryan, Aariah Mendez, Juliana Guajardo, siblings, Rebecca (Herman) Del Toro, Angelica (Paul) Ortiz, Nicholas (April) Mendez, nieces and nephews, Christopher Del Toro, Nicholas Del Toro, Matthew Mendez, Mia Mendez and many loving friends and family. He had a love for playing his drums, trips to the river and caring for his family. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Monday May 3, 2021 at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine from 2:00PM till 9:00Pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. Celebration of life will be Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 10:00 Am at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine with interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Devine.
