Delia Frausto

Delia Trevino Frausto of Pearsall, Texas, departed this earthly life on January 17, 2023, at the age of 72. Delia was born on February 21, 1950, to Nicolas M. and Ofelia Trevino in Pearsall, TX. She was a graduate of Pearsall High School in 1969. She was employed by the Pearsall Independent School District for 20 + years and will be remembered by many as Ms. Frausto while she worked at the Pearsall High School Library. After working for the school district, she then spent her remaining years with her family enjoying Tejano music, baking cakes/desserts, cooking meals and attending church activities and retreats. She loved gardening and had a green thumb. Delia loved her family dearly. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an amazing and hard-working spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend. She will truly be missed and will never be forgotten.

Delia was predeceased by her parents, Nicolas M. and Ofelia Trevino; brother, Arnoldo Trevino; sister, Alicia Valle; brother-in-law: Ruben Cantu, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert Frausto, Jr.; son, Ron Riojas (Andrea McGinnis); daughters, Rebecca Valdez (Rudy), Roxanne Frausto (Anselmo Flores) and Melissa Frausto (Kevin Vogel); grandchildren, Ethan and Max Flores, Nicolas Riojas, Kalyssa and Kaylani Vogel; brother, Jose Trevino (Soila Sanchez); sisters, Sylvia Trevino, Irma Trevino, Nora Trevino (Richard Scott); brother-in-law, Baldemar Valle,

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Primrose Funeral Services (formerly Hurley Funeral Home) (608 E. Trinity, Pearsall, TX 78061). A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (422 W Brazos St, Pearsall, TX 78061).
