Dezmarie Alize Ortega

Our Lord called her home on Friday, December 6, 2024. Dezmarie Alize Ortega age 19 of Lytle, Texas was born on February 23, 2005, in San Antonio, Texas to Robert Ortega, Jr. and Jennifer Lynn Garcia Clouser.

Dezmarie was a vibrant and loving young lady, who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a bright and talented artist who loved painting and spending time in nature. Dezzy was a passionate gardener and devoted animal lover.

Dezmarie attended Lytle High School and graduated with the class of 2023. She was active in Cross Country, Band, NHS, FFA, and other UIL organizations.

Dezzy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Dezmarie is survived by her parents, Robert Ortega, Jr., Christopher and Jennifer Clouser, and her sister Jazmine Ortega. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Michelle D. Emley Jopling.

Memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 9:00 A.M with Mass starting at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church with a meal to follow the services at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church Hall. Interment will be held at a later date.
