Dorothy Sue Westbrook

February 16, 1942 — April 26, 2022

Dorothy Sue Westbrook was born February 16, 1942, to A.C. "Bill" and Lottie Pearl Westbrook. She was born in Oakwood Texas but soon became a resident of Pearsall with the family moving there in 1948. In 1959 Dorothy moved to the Austin State Supported Living Center and it became her permanent home. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, W.A. "Alvin" Westbrook Sr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Westbrook of Alice Tx., nephews, William and wife Cindy Westbrook of Ingleside Tx., Wayne and Kathy Westbrook of Sandia Tx., Wray and Cindy Westbrook of Gainsville Tx., numerous great-nieces and nephews as well as her extended family and friends from the Austin State School. Dorothy was a special woman with a gift of a sweet smile, big brown eyes, and beautiful hair. She loved to greet visitors at her home and rarely met a stranger. She had a love for people, cookies, and trains. Dorothy will be greatly missed as she was loved by all who came in contact with her.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Pearsall Cemetery.
