Dr. Jolyn English

Dr. Jolyn English, 93, passed away on March 22, 2024, in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. English was born on June 1, 1930, in Garvin County, OK to David Hale English and Ruth English.

Dr. English graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in San Antonio, TX. He started his career as a Chiropractor and health specialist in 1957 and practiced until February 11, 2024.

Dr. English married Sharon Eckhardt on September 1, 1956. The couple had 5 children.

Dr. English married Shirley Hayden on January 30, 1988.

Dr. English was best known for his love of Jesus, Chiropractic, and his enthusiastic attitude.

Dr. English is survived by his wife-Shirley English, his brother-Don Sr. & family, his 5 children: Dr. Darrell English & family, Sherrie English & family, Joy English-DeGidio & family, Gary English & family, and Laura English & family. He is also survived by his 2 stepsons: Devin Holland & family and Justin Dickinson & family. Also, he is survived by his brother-in-law, Kennith Cox & family. He had 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

Dr. English is preceded in death by his mother-Ruth English, his father-Hale English, his sister-Nancy Cox, his wife-Sharon English, his nephew-Ronnie Cox, and his sister-in-law-Elizabeth English.

The services for Dr. English will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Primrose Funeral Services. A visitation will begin at 2:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow going to Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
