Ernest Esquivel

Ernest Esquivel, of Devine, Texas, has passed away at the age of 57 surrounded by his loved ones.

He loved his wife and children, and was an amazing grandfather. Ernest worked in the oilfield for thirty five years, he enjoyed being outdoors, rebuilding things, and collecting rocks and plants, and anything to do with the Indian culture. He loved to play scratch off tickets, and was always the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by his father Ramon Martinez.

Ernest leaves behind his wife, Gracie; mother, Margaret Monreal; eight children, Katrina, Ernest, Chelsea (Tim), Jacob (Destinee), Amber (James), Ramon (Ariel), Amy (Fonzo, and Ethan; and thirteen grandchildren, Heavenly, Sophia, Aaliyah, Atalaya, Autumn, Arabella, Violet, Zayden, Allen, Ryan, Modesto, Legend, and Achilles; eight siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm.
