Esther D. Bendele

Esther was born in Galveston, Texas November 2, 1933 to Donald and Lois Denney. At age nine her family moved to the Devine area. On November 26, 1949 she married her first love, Lewis Bendele for a union of 48 years 8 months when Lewis died July 12, 1998. They had a daughter Katherine Ann “Kay” on October 1, 1951, who died December 5, 2003.

Esther cared for her sister Harriet Mosso for 4 months until her death on October 13, 2007. She is preceded in death by her mother Lois Howard, Her husband Lewis Bendele, daughter Kay Thompson, sisters Clara Novotny, Harriett Mosso, Irene McMahan and brother Herbert Denney.

Survived by her nephew, now loved son, Robert Denney and wife Jeanne and their children, son-in-law Roger Thompson and wife Joyce, and nieces and nephews.

And for the beautiful people at the Yancey Seventh Day Adventist Church, thank you for your love and encouragement and prayers. I’ll see you in the morning!

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 11:00 A.M. Yancey Seventh Day Adventist Church, Yancey, Texas. Due to the virus, masks are required to attend the service and there will be no reception following the service.
