Esther G. Hernandez, age 87 of Lytle, Texas passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, in Lytle, Texas. She was born on May 22, 1934, to parents, Jose Garcia, Sr., and Luisa "Hernandez" Garcia in Goliad, Texas.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Fermin Hernandez, Sr.; parents, Jose and Luisa Garcia, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Josefa Hernandez; sister, Amelia Lopez; brothers, Jose Garcia, Jr. and Pete Garcia.

She is survived by her son, Fermin (Irene) Hernandez, Jr.; daughter's, Diana (Ernest) Casias, Cynthia (Ignacio) Lopez; Elizabeth (Roger) Perez; grandchildren, Fermin Hernandez, III, Allison Marie Hernandez, Ernest Casias II, Jr., Tracy Gomez, Priscilla Smith, Leslie Castro, Amy Martinez, Jennifer Ochoa, Stephanie Reese, Vanessa Perez, Ashley Perez; great-grandchildren, Riddic Bais, Isaiah Sebastian Castro, Arissa Celi Castro, Caleb Jeremiah Castro, Senaida Nicole Martinez, Isabella Hope Martinez, Amelia Esther Martinez, Cynthia Ann Martinez, Julianna Gabrella Martinez, Pearson Smith, Jensen Smith, Lilyana Casias, Aryana Casias, Andrew Dillon Ochoa, Gemma Grace Reese, Nathanial Lucus Reese, Carter Ray Leos, Everly Mila Leos; brothers, Able Garcia, Leon Garcia Josue Garcia, Abraham Garcia, Jimmy Garcia; sisters, Naomi Carrillo, Raquel Gonzalez, Rebecca Garcia, Ruth Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, 10:00 A.M. Lytle Community Cemetery Lytle, Texas with services concluding at the cemetery
