Evangelina Williams Martinez de Martinez fell asleep in death (John 11:11-14) on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born on February 23, 1932 to Pedro S. and Lucy (Williams) Martinez in Eagle Pass, TX.
Evangelina only achieved a 10th grade education yet was able to become an honest business owner and supported herself for the last 11 years of her working career from this business.
She has displayed a loyalty and love for her Creator and Grand Instructor, Jehovah God, and for the direction that His Son, Jesus Christ has made known to her. She has served as a dedicated and baptized Witness of our Creator, declaring abroad the excellencies and future hope of an everlasting life (Psalm 37) that He has promised, always wanting to share with others this hope! (Pr 27:11).
She successfully raised 6 children. She and Her Creator, Jehovah, however, made sure that her children did not lack sustenance, covering, education, and most importantly, basic Christian principles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Evangelina is survived by her children: Santos Irene Lira and husband, Ted, Eugenio Flores Jr. and wife, Susan, Luis Roberto Flores and wife, Virginia, Maria Dolores Trevino and husband, Jose R., Alvino Flores and wife, Arlene Asuncion and Luz del Alba Fernandez and husband, Raul; step-children: Sarah Wright, Noemi Campos, Esther Villarreal, John Martinez and Isaac Martinez.
