Evelyn Josephine Bendele DuBose

Evelyn Josephine Bendele DuBose of Devine, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2023, in Devine, Texas, at the age of 87.

Evelyn was born April 10, 1935, in Medina County, Texas, to Joe Louis Bendele and Elizabeth (Theis) Bendele, both of who preceded her, along with her husband of sixty-four years, Darrell Woods DuBose "Nuggie" daughter, Deborah DuBose, sisters Irene Bendele Hammond, Edna Bendele, Lorine Bendele, Leona Bendele Shipp, and Brother Joe Bendele, Jr., and great-grandson, Darrell Woods DuBose, IV.

She is survived by sons, Darrell W. DuBose II (Tinker) and wife Debbie, David W. DuBose and wife, Belinda, Don W. DuBose; daughters, Janice DuBose, Pamala Shoemake, and husband Ronald; sisters Elizabeth Bendele Braden, Pauline Bendele Clements and husband Neil, Alice Neumann Neidlinger, and husband, Chuck; sister-in-law, Linda Bendele; grandchildren, Ashley Coyle and husband, Derek, Derek Shoemake, and fiance, Hillary Jacobson, Mindy Newman and husband, Justin, David W. DuBose II and fiance, Bianca, Samantha Barber and husband, Coy, Ross Shoemake, and wife Brandy, Darrell W. DuBose III (Skeeter) and wife, Aizlyn, Kayla Kania; great-grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Derek, Jr. (Tooter), Duke, Zoey, River, Taylor, Brayden, Kade, Gustaf, Logan, Braeley, Jameson, and Evan. 

Pallbearers: Ron Shoemake, Derek Shoemake, Ross Shoemake, Darrell DuBose, III, Justin Newman, David DuBose, II, Derek Coyle, and Coy Barber.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 P.M. Primrose Funeral Services Devine, Texas. 

Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
