Frank R. Alfaro

April 1, 1945 — May 2, 2023

Lytle, Texas

Frank Reyna Alfaro, Sr. born on April 1st, 1945,in Lytle, Texas to his Mother Refugia Alfaro and Father Niebes Alfaro alongside his ten siblings.

Frank gained his wings and went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 2nd, 2023.

Frank raised a beautiful family full of love from sons Frank Alfaro, Jr. and John Paul Alfaro, daughter in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. Frank is survived by: Aurora Alfaro (Wife), Frank Alfaro, Jr. (Son), Anna Alfaro (Daughter-in-Law), John Paul Alfaro (Son), Amy Alfaro (Daughter-in-law), Five Grandchildren, Grandchildren's Spouses, Six Great-Grandchildren, James Alfaro (Brother) and Mary Roach (Sister).

Frank lived a full and wonderful life of 78 years, 58 of those married to Aurora, the love of his life. There was also never a dull moment when he was with his wife and the other half of his comedy duo, Aurora. They lit up the room with their love and playful antics. His unconditional love for our grandmother was truly timeless and a story as beautiful as a fairytale. He was one of a kind, a true legendary cowboy, and a family man at heart. He instilled the importance of family that has been passed down from generation to generation. Grandpa, as us grandchildren referred to him, would always carry a tune wherever he went. His whistling and singing is a sound that will stay in memory with us forever.  He had the best head of hair, even more charming turned silver that made him recognizable in any room he was in. Frank had the best jokes and created funny memories and stories that we still talk about to this day. He gave the absolute best hugs that made you feel at home and had the best dance moves we've ever seen.

Frank was a strong man and always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether it came to cars or things around the house, he loved helping his family with whatever they needed. He had a passion for old classic cars, loved to watch reruns of Rifleman and Gun-smoke, or you would find him in his recliner cheering on his favorite football or baseball team. Our Grandpa had nicknames for every single one of us grandkids that will forever be in our hearts as long as we live till we can hear them again. The day Grandpa left, he took a small piece of all of us with him. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
