Garry was born on July 16, 1951 in Pearsall, Texas to Willie Ray and Myrtle Jenkins. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers William Ray Jenkins, Jr. and George Harrison Jenkins and Sister Barbara Jean Pigford.

Garry is survived by his Wife of 53 years Karren Jenkins; Children Earl Jenkins and Wife Aileen; Son Ronnie Jenkins and Wife Lindsay; Daughter Jody Seiler and Husband Wayne; 7 Grandsons; 2 Granddaughters; 5 Great-grandchildren; Brother David Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.
