In Loving Memory of Guadalupe Sanchez

Guadalupe Sanchez, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and beloved member of the Natalia community, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2023, in San Antonio, TX. Guadalupe was born on June 22, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan and her untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Pedro Sanchez; parents, Guadalupe and Fidela Mendez; sister, Anna Marie Juarez; brother, Arturo Mendez; daughter, Cindy Ortiz; and grandson, Derek Hernandez.

Guadalupe leaves behind five children, Carmen Loza (Jesse), Robert Hernandez (Nora) Connie Guajardo (Carlos), Sonia Hernandez (Greg), PJ Sanchez (Amanda), siblings, Olga, Constante, Maria Christina Gomez, Raymundo Mendez, Monica Segovia, seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Throughout her life, Guadalupe touched the lives of many with her kind and compassionate nature, and Easter cascarones. She was a pillar of strength and a source of comfort and support to her family. Guadalupe's unwavering dedication to her family will always be remembered and cherished.

To honor and celebrate her remarkable life, a public viewing will take place at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle, TX, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with Rosary recited at 5:45 pm, and a Communion Service on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, TX, interment to follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. We invite all who knew Guadalupe to join us in bidding her farewell and finding solace in shared memories. 

During this difficult time, we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing Guadalupe. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who were touched by her loving spirit.
