Herman A. Munoz

Herman Arturo Munoz, aged 61, passed away on January 20, 2021, in San Antonio, TX.  He was born on December 26, 1959, in Dilley, Texas to parents Arturo Munoz, Jr. and Susana Luna Munoz.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Rosemary. 

Herman is survived by his sisters, Rosalinda Munoz, Rosanna (Ernie) Vasquez and Rosandra Munoz, his nephew Anthony Vasquez, his niece Kellie Vasquez, and his great-nephew Kannon Gonzalez, his aunts Maria Elia (Rolando) Tafolla, Florencia (†Eustolio) Maldonado, uncles George Munoz, Alfred Munoz and his German shepherd Jake, numerous cousins, and many, many friends

Herman will be deeply missed by so many people.

Pallbearers include Rolando Tafolla, Rene Tafolla, Armando Trevino, Abel Aguilar, Perry Alvarez, Joe Villanueva, Trey Reyes and Matthew Gandara.

Honorary pallbearers are Kannon Gonzalez, Cindy Bernal, Erica Garcia, Carolina Garibay, Myrna Ruiz, Juanita Alvarez, Elena Martinez, Bernice Tenorio, Desiree Gutierrez, Analiza Martinez and Carmen Gauna

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 9:00, am to 12:30 pm in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2021, in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church following the Mass at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow, in the Catholic East Cemetery.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, facial coverings or masks will be required, and social distancing observed. Please limit physical contact to members of your immediate families.
