Janie D Castano, 70, passed away on August 16, 2020 in San Antonio. She was born on May 5, 1950 in Devine to parents Simon and Lucia Davila. Janie was preceded in death by parents Simon and Lucia Davila, sister, Ofelia Hernandez, brothers, Rogelio, Ramon and Paul Davila, niece Victoria Hernandez. Janie is survived by husband, Jose Castano, daughters, Mary Jane (Marcos) Gonzales, Maria Castano, sons, Jose (Anita) Castano , Martin (Deanna) Castano, brother, Simon Davila, grandchildren; Miklo and Thalia Gonzales, Khloe, Kellyahn and Kason Castano, Martin and Matthew Castano, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 27, 2020 Hurley Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00PM to 9:00PM with a Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM. Mass will be celebrated Friday ,August 28, 2020 at ST. Joseph Catholic Church Devine at 10:00Am with interment to follow in Colemine Cemetery-Lytle.
