Jerry Bruce Crosby, born January 5, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, left this earth on March 23, 2024 in Pearsall, Texas, at the Frio Rehabilitation Center.
Bruce was preceded in death by both parents; Howard, and Helen Crosby, and two brothers; Jim, and Bill Crosby.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beth Crosby of Pearsall, Texas, son; Keelan Crosby of Baltimore, Maryland, daughter; Stephanie Ann Cox of Houston, Texas, three stepdaughters; Sheryl Hill (Scott) of Lexington, Texas, Shanna Gates (Jim) of Pearsall, Texas, and Shelly Younger (Bryan) of Roosevelt, Oklahoma. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends made along the way.
Bruce was a workaholic; his main joy was working, and providing for his family. His life's work was rural powerline and light rail construction, and several other entrepreneurial endeavors. He also loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, target shooting, going to casinos with friends, and playing poker.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Trinity Hospice and Frio Rehabilitation Centers for their caring and tireless work.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Pearsall Methodist Church on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the church.
