Jesse Walker Mercer, 72, passed away on June 14, 2020 in San Antonio TX. He was born on August 26, 1947 in San Antonio to parents Jessie Mercer and Edna Mercer. Jesse Walker Mercer received the Purple Heart while serving in the Army and retired with Kelly Air Force Civil Service, QA inspector. Jesse was preceded in death by Jessie Mercer - father, Edna Mercer - mother, Joseph Paul Mercer - brother, Joy Johnson - sister, Patricia Blocker -sister. Jesse is survived by Ruby Charles Mercer-wife, Corey (Veronica) Gutierrez - son, Kenneth (Leslie) Davis - son, Scott (Sharon) Davis - son, Lisa Marie (Joe) Hodges - daughter, Teresa C. Parton - sister-n-law, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday June 22, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Hurley Funeral Home chapel in Lytle, Texas. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
