Jesus Vergara

Jesus Vergara, a true cowboy, was born on August 27, 1923, to Jesus and Margarita Casillas, passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 8, 2021, at the age of 98.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Rendon Vergara; great-grandson, Derek Daniel Esqueda. 

Jesus is survived by his daughters, Velma Vergara-Esqueda and husband, Bentura, Maria Nelda Vergara Perales and husband, Jose; brother, Alejandro Vergara; grandchildren, Daniel and Lenora Esqueda, Dania Veronica Esqueda, David Vaughn Esqueda and wife, Norma, Damian Valdemar Esqueda, Arron, and Kelley Perales, Aidan and Cary Perales, Adriel and Selma Perales; numerous great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be from 5 pm-9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pearsall, Texas.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 10 am at Christian Faith Center in Dilley, Texas with interment to follow in Dilley Cemetery.
