Joe G. Sanchez

Joe G. Sanchez, of Alpine, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at the age of 100.  He was born June 16, 1919, to Francisco and Francisca Gallego Sanchez.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita R. Sanchez; parents and his brother, Frank G. Sanchez.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann S. Obregon of Dilley, TX, his grandchildren, DeeAnne Linares and husband Mike, Saul Obregon Jr. and wife Sandy and his great-grandchildren, Destiny Obregon, Christian Obregon and Dennen Rodriguez and husband James.

A Rosary will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine, TX. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at the Holy Angel Cemetery, Alpine, Texas. Pallbearers are Larry Gallego, Elpidio Molinar, Raul Molinar, Knobby Al Sanchez, J.J. Gallego, Billy Sanchez and David Pallanez.

There will be no visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pearsall prior to service.
