Jose Ramiro Garcia

Jose Ramiro Garcia, who passed away on May 07, 2023, at the age of 51 in Houston, Texas, was a devoted son, brother, uncle and devout Christian.

Born on January 18, 1972 in Pearsall, Texas to his mother Dominga G. Martinez and his late father Arnulfo Garcia, Sr. Jose grew up alongside his siblings. Jose is survived by his mother Dominga G. Martinez; brothers Ernie Garcia Jr., Lorenzo Martinez (Artis); sisters Sandy Standley (D.J.), Barbie Arriazola (Joey) and Lorena Trevino. He was known as "Uncle Milo" by his beloved nephews and nieces: April, Abby, Amanda, Tera, Tiffany, Garrett, Joey, Joe Isaac, Sarah, Danielle, Eliana Chiara, Evan, Joshua and Ryan. He was also adored by Desmond, Mila,Violet, Coraline, Triple A, Hayden, Jacob, Garrett, Vanellope, Sophia, Elliott, Oliver, Alessandra, Elliott and Wyatt- his great-nephews and great-nieces.

Jose was preceded in death by his step-father Cirilo D. Martinez as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents and his fur baby, Princess.

Jose attended Pearsall High School where he graduated in 1991 before moving to Waco. In pursuit of higher education he went on to complete a 2-year trade course in Waco where he sharpened his skills. After graduation from trade school he moved to Louisiana where he worked in the oil field for over a decade before returning back home to Pearsall.

Jose had an unwavering faith in God which guided him throughout his life. He was an active member of the Church of Christ for over forty years where he found both solace and community spirit.

Jose will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His loss has left a void in their hearts. We find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his loved ones who preceded him in death.

A visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall. A funeral service will be on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Church of Christ in Pearsall, TX. Services will conclude at the church.
