Jose "Joe" Angel Ramirez

Jose "Joe" Angel Ramirez, age 57, of Pearsall, Texas, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 21, 1966,  to parents Antonio and Josefina "Josie" Ramirez in Pearsall, Texas.

Constable Jose "Joe" Angel Ramirez served over three decades in law enforcement for the State of Texas: Pearsall Police Department, from 1989-1992; Frio County Sheriff's Office, from 1993-1994; Texas Highway Patrol Trooper, from 1994-1996; Criminal Law Enforcement Trooper, from 1996-2002; Criminal Law Enforcement Narcotics Sergeant from 2002-2015; Criminal Investigations Division Special Agent from 2015-2018; Frio County Sheriff's Office, from 2018- 2020; Frio County Constable Pct. 1, from 2020 - 2024; Joe's life long dedication to the State of Texas and community will live on forever.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Josefina "Josie" Ramirez. He is survived by his father Antonio Ramirez; loving wife of 26 years Roselle Adriann Ramirez; children Jovanna Ramirez, Jose Adrian (Joey) Ramirez, and Antonio Jovan Ramirez; siblings Margarita Soto (Felix Julian), Elvia Huizar (Roy); Antonio Ramirez Jr. (Rosalina), Fransisco Ramirez (Nara), and Wendy Obregon Trevino (Robert)

Honorary Pallbearers: Jose Adrian Ramirez and Antonio Jovan Ramirez.

Active Pallbearers: John Patterson, Rick Muniz, Eloy Garza, John Lee Conyers, Butch Holley, Pete J. Martinez, Ricky Cerna, and Edward Garza.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with the Rosary to begin at 9:00 A.M. and Mass at 10:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Pearsall, Texas with interment to follow in Pearsall Cemetery.
