Joseph Edwin Brand

Joseph Edwin Brand Joe was a loving Husband, great Father, and even better Grandfather. Joe left this world suddenly on September 7, 2021, at age 74. Joe graduated from the University of Richmond with a bachelor's degree in Business Finance. Upon graduation, Joe volunteered to serve his country and joined the U.S. Army. Joe then worked with Compton Brokerage for well over 24 years. Joe was very involved in the First United Methodist Church of Devine and was a proud member of their Jubilee Choir. Joe is survived by his wife, Kristy. He is also survived by his children Travis, Christopher, and Amanda and his grandchildren Daisy, Kirstie and Marcous Jr., and nieces Jenny, Crissy, and Nicole. He leaves behind his wonderful friends that he considered family, including Evelyn Brown, Pastor Val, and the Methodist Church parishioners, Suzanne Martin, Ralph, and Joyce Hartman and Lance, Kirk and Sue Bates, Mercedes Freer as well as every trucker he ever worked with because he also considered them family. A memorial service for Joe will be held at a later date.
