Joseph Arnold Hernandez

Joseph Arnold Hernandez, 52 of San Antonio was called home by our Heavenly Father and his loving mother, Angelita Emilia Vidales (Benavides), to the Heavens, on December 25, 2020. Joseph was born in Pearsall, Texas on November 20, 1968.

Joseph, a construction foreman, was always a hard worker whose passions included hunting, fishing, cooking, and making his loved ones laugh. He could be found opening and closing the refrigerator door at any giving time of day and turning popular English songs to his hilarious Spanish versions.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Dolores Valdez; Three daughters - Farren Velasquez, Rebecca Aleman, Ashley Serna; One son, Johnny Steve Aleman, Jr.; Tree Grandsons, Four Granddaughters; Four Sisters; Ginger Alexis Vidales- Spruill, Annette Vidales-Alvarez, Monica Gallegos, and Adriana Whitwell; Three Brothers- Carlos Benavides, Mark Benavides, and Stephen Vidales; Dad- Arnaldo Hernandez and wife, Teresa Hernandez; Dad- Armando Santellano Vidales, Sr. and, Closest Aunt- Gloria Benavides, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Joseph was and continues to be loved by so many.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Angelita Emilia Vidales (Benavides).
