Juan Machorro, 62, of Lytle, TX, beloved husband, brother and friend passed away on July 7, 2020, in Boerne, TX. Juan was born in Mexico City, December 29, 1957, to Enrique and Dorothy (Castellano) Machorro.
Juan was an amazing Hatter at Wheeler's Western Outfitters & Boutique in Boerne, TX.
The Machorro family would like to thank everyone for the kind words and loving messages. The world lost an amazing cowboy as we all know. Our hearts are BROKEN! Juan will be dearly missed.
We wanted to share a story that we hold dear in our hearts and truly shows how Juan lived every day of his life even in his younger years.
Juan worked as a bellman in a hotel in his 20's. He worked very hard but most of his salary was from tips, so it was a long time coming but when he finally had enough money saved up he got himself a Rolex. He always wanted one. He wore it for about a week and when mom asked, "where is your watch?" He looked at her and smiled and said, "I gave it to a homeless man under the freeway because he needs it more than I do".
That truly sums up who he was his whole entire life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Selsa (Galindo) Machorro; brother, Mario Machorro and wife, Lupe; sisters, Dorie Levy and husband Rob, Toni Listengart, and brother-in-law, Joe Listengart as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Enrique Machorro.
