Ester C. Alonzo, age 84 of Natalia, Texas passed on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born on January 17, 1938, to parents, Juan Zaragosa Castillo and Juanita Cavazos DeLeon, in Cotulla, Texas.
Ester is preceded in death by her parents, son, Jose Mendez; sister, Bertha Castillo; brothers, Daniel and Ernesto Castillo, Great granddaughter Jordyn Garza.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, daughters, Toni Barrientes, Sylvia Espinoza, husband, Richard, Sandra Mendez; sons, Roland Mendez wife, Santa, Micheal Mendez Sr. wife, Guadalupe, Luciano Alonzo, wife Jennifer, and daughter in law Maria Rodriguez; grandchildren, Joe Marcus Mendez III, wife Angelica, Jennifer Mendez husband Randy, Andrew Rodriguez, wife, Debbie, Leonard Cruz, Joey Cruz, Oscar Mendez, Isreal Mendez, Moses Mendez, Jessie Wootan, husband Michael, Tiffany Barrientes-Robles, husband Jonathan, Nicodemia Espinoza, husband Greg, David Vidaurri wife, Desiree, Michael Mendez, Jr., wife, Gina, Brian Mendez, Patrick Mendez, Eric Mendez, Joseph Mendez, E.J. Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. Primrose Funeral Service Devine, Texas. Communion Services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, St. John Bosco Catholic church with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
