Judith Ann Croce

Our, beautiful and beloved, Judy, age 72, passed away December 10, 2021, surrounded by her family. Judith Ann was born July 15, 1949 to Virgil and June Smith.

A graduate of Southwest High School, Judy grew up in San Antonio, later moving to Lytle, Texas. She loved being the big sister to Phyllis and Gary. Judy married the love of her life, John Croce, and they were blessed to share 48 wonderful years together. She absolutely loved being John’s wife, Krystal’s mom, and Kamryn and Kason’s grandmother. Judy was well-known among family and friends for her delicious homemade cakes and pies. Count yourself lucky if you were a recipient of her Italian Cream cake or her Carrot cake!

A faithful loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and June Smith.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John Croce; daughter, Krystal Guzman (Jereme); sister, Phyllis Garnand, and brother, Gary Smith (Julie); grandchildren, Kamryn and Kason Guzman; numerous nieces, nephews, an extended loving family, and a host of friends. 

Surrounded by the family who adored her, after a long and courageous battle, Judy is now Home Free and has received The Ultimate Healing.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
