Lenora Perez Hernandez

Lenora Perez Hernandez B.S.N-RN passed away on July 8, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 46.

She became an LVN in 2005 from Coastal Bend College and received her RN degree in 2009 from Southwest Texas Junior College. Lenora held many positions over her career as a nurse. From 2014 to 2019 she was a Director of Emergency and Critical Care Services at the Nix Hospital. In 2018, she was voted as Best 25 Nurses of South-Central Texas.  Beginning in 2019 to present she was a Team Leader at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her father Juan Rodriguez Perez, nephew, Peter Andrew Reyes.

Lenora is survived by her loving children, Ariel Benavides and husband, Marcus, Ruben Hernandez III, Tavie Olivia Hernandez; mother, Ofelia Salinas Perez; sisters, Irma Reyes and husband, Andy M. Reyes III, Brenda A. De Leon and husband, Lionel De Leon Sr.; father of her children, Ruben V. Hernandez Jr.; nieces and nephews, Randy Reyes, Dana Torres, Bryana Reyes, Lionel De Leon Jr., Lauryn De Leon, Brynden De Leon and an extended loving family.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 9am with a Mass to be celebrated at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall, Texas. Services will conclude at the church.
