Louis C. Garza

Louis Garza, of Devine, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022. Louis was 63 years old, and he was born in Coalinga, California on November 16, 1958, to Elvira Cantu, and Luis Garza. Louis was married to Lorraine Garza for 42 years. Louis spent many of his years working at Devine Lumber, but for the past 7 years you could find him working for Harrison Supply. Louis enjoyed spending time with family and friends with his 2 grandkids being his biggest blessing. He spent his free time watching cooking shows, western movies, and playing outside with his grandkids. He was outdoorsy and would spend each evening feeding the deer with the grandbabies. Louis was a very loving father, and grandfather. His grandkids referred to him as Papi. Louis was preceded in death by his father; Luis Garza, mother-in-law; Maria Velasquez, and father-in-law; Jimmy Velasquez. Louis is survived by his mother; Elvira Cantu, wife; Lorraine Garza, son; Ryan Garza and wife Kristen Garza, grandkids; Brynlee Garza and Kyler Garza, brothers; Robert Garza, and Albert Garza. Louis is also survived by his sister-in-law; Dora Rodriguez husband Ruben, brother-in-law; Michael Velasquez wife Maddie, also, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Louis had the biggest heart, and a very hard worker. He will be missed deeply by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home - Devine, 303 W. College Ave, Devine, Texas 78016. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 pm with Pastor Billy Morse officiating. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
