Lucille Emmke Patterson

Lucille E. Patterson, age 94, of Devine, passed away Thursday June 17, 2021, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rev. William B. Patterson Jr., parents, William W. Emmke and Leona May Emmke and siblings, William Emmke, Isabelle Emmke Hageman, and Elwin Emmke. Lucille is survived by her children, Sheryl Coburn, William B. Patterson III, John Patterson, Irene Bennett, Rebecca Adcock, 17 grandchildren and many beautiful great grandchildren. Lucille Patterson served the Lord alongside her husband, as missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions, for more than 50 years. Together, the lived our their life verse, Psalm 27:14: " Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." There will be no services at the Hurley Funeral Home Devine. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
