Manuel J. Sifuentes, a dedicated truck driver for 45 years, and most recently a school bus driver for the Pearsall Independent School District, passed away on October 3, 2023. He was born on April 5, 1946, to Manuel and Josefa Sifuentes in Eagle Pass, Texas, and his untimely departure occurred in Pearsall, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Manuel Sifuentes Jr. and his seven siblings.
Throughout his life, Manuel was known for his unwavering dedication to his work and his loved ones. As a truck driver, he traversed countless miles of roads with utmost responsibility and professionalism. His commitment to ensuring the safe transportation of goods earned him the respect of those he encountered along his journeys.
In later years, Manuel brought that same sense of duty to his role as a school bus driver for the Pearsall Independent School District. He took great pride in being entrusted with the precious cargo of children, always prioritizing their safety above all else.
Beyond his career achievements, Manuel had a deep-rooted passion for his faith and held a cherished place within the Freedom House church community. His loyalty as a church member exemplified his commitment to living a virtuous and meaningful life.
Among Manuel's proudest accomplishments was his lasting marriage of 23 years to his beloved wife, Raquel Sifuentes. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them and served as a testament to the enduring power of love and partnership.
Manuel leaves behind a legacy that extends far beyond the roads he once traveled. He is survived by his devoted wife, Raquel Sifuentes; sons from his first marriage: Everardo Sifuentes and Eduardo Sifuentes; daughter-in-laws Sonia, Raquel and Linda Sifuentes and grandchildren Everardo II, Eduardo Jr., Josue, Julianna, Ximena, and Manuel III.
Manuel will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews whose lives he touched with his warmth, generosity, and guidance.

A visitation will be on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, Texas. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, Texas with interment to follow in Pearsall Cemetery.
