Maria Miranda, departed this life peacefully on January 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 1, 1943, Maria embodied the essence of compassion and dedication throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Maria's career as a caregiver was not merely a profession; it was a true calling. She approached her work with a warmth that nurtured those around her. Her gentle spirit and tireless dedication to helping others epitomized her loving nature. One of Maria’s proudest accomplishments was learning English as a second language, a testament to her perseverance and desire to connect with those around her. Maria is survived by her beloved sons: Frank Miranda, Jorge Miranda, Stephen Miranda, and Roman Garcia, who will forever hold dear the lessons of love and compassion imparted to them by their mother. She is also survived by her siblings: Reyes De La Garza, Juan Antonio Garcia, Gregorio Garcia, Rosalinda Rodriguez, and Leticia Curup. Last she is survived by 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Preceding her in death were Francisco Miranda, her cherished husband, who remains a guiding light in her memory; as well as her parents, Antonio Garcia and Paula Garcia. Maria was also preceded in death by her sisters Maria Elena Salazar and Maria Guadalupe Lara, and her brother Gilbert Garcia. Each of these family members held a special place in her heart, and their spirits will forever weave through the tapestry of her life.

Maria’s funeral service will be held on January 17, 2025, at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate a life beautifully lived, filled with love and sacrifices that shaped so many futures. This gathering will serve as a poignant reminder of the incredible legacy Maria leaves behind — one of compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family.

As we say goodbye to Maria Miranda, let us remember her infectious laughter, her nurturing spirit, and the love she spread everywhere she went.
