Marshall Molton Seay entered eternal rest at the age of 74 on July 4, 2024. He was born on September 20, 1949, to his parents Henry Allen Seay Sr. and Juanita Marie Sanders in San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elizabeth “Besty” Mentry, and sisters-in-law Faye and Debbie Seay.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Wanda; sons Fred (Crystal) of Yuma, AZ, Geoffrey (Destiny) of Devine, Andy Kinsey (David) of San Antonio. Brothers Henry Allen Jr of La Coste, Paul (Denise) of La Coste, and Charlie of Denver; Granddaughter Elizabeth “Lizzy” Marie and Grandson Marshall Allen of Devine; Step-grandchildren Shelby, Joy, and Tyler, of Yuma, AZ; and niece and nephews.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a proud Marine (Gunnery Sergeant). He served our country in two branches of our military. He enlisted in the Army, then joined the US Marine Corp., where he served for over 20 years before retiring. While in the Army, he served two tours in Vietnam and survived three helicopter crashes and lived to tell the stories. For those who knew him, you knew he loved to tell his Marine stories; those stories were on repeat and long, but they will be missed.

Marshall was a very simple and private man and did not want any fanfare about him especially when it came to his funeral. His final wishes were to be cremated and have a burial at sea. Granting his final wishes, there will be no funeral services. The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the VFW in La Coste from 11am-1pm.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please donate to The Wounded Warriors or any organization that supports our Military. The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support that has shown during this difficult time.
