Mary Darlene Barajas, age 61 of Pearsall, Texas entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Pearsall, Texas. She was born June 10, 1960, in Jourdanton, Texas to parents, Cipriano Barajas and Elena Castillo.
She is preceded in death by her father, Cipriano Barajas; sister, Pascualita Barajas. Mary is survived by her mother, Elena Castillo; brothers and sisters, Adan Barajas (Betty) of Kyle, Texas; Paul Barajas (Janie) of Pearsall, Texas; Pascuala Barajas (Guzman) of Dilley, Texas; Martin Gonzalez, Jr. (Judith) of Union City, California; Joe Felix Gonzalez (Nancy) of Union City, California; Feliseo Gonzales (Araceli) of El Paso, Texas; Santos Gonzales (Julie) of Shalimar, Florida; Gil Gonzalez, Sr. (Addi) of Lufkin, Texas; numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was the humblest of all, she was sweet and gentle, always nurturing us when we needed her, a selfless giver, and kind to all of God's creatures. She enjoyed the beauties of the night skies, especially meteor showers. She was all smiles and kindness. She will be dearly missed and is irreplaceable in our hearts. Her love and sweetness shall not be forgotten.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Pearsall, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 10, 2022, 10:00 A.M. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Pearsall, Texas with interment to follow in Frio County Cemetery.
