Mary Courtney Wright Bennett was born in Pearsall, Texas on January 14, 1970.

Ann was buried in Dilley, Texas on July 14, 2020.
Courtney was a beautiful little girl. She was a very happy child who loved to play, enjoyed her dog and pony and loved to ride her big brother and sisters’ bikes as she grew older.
She attended the Pearsall Elementary School.  She transferred as a sixth grader & attended the Alamo Heights Junior School where she later graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1988.
She was well liked among her friends and won a variety of awards while in Junior High & High School, specifically in tennis. She was on the Alamo Heights High School Varsity tennis team under the esteemed coach Larry Oxford.  She was also a member of the Alamo Heights High School band. She was in numerous clubs all throughout her junior high and high school years while at Alamo Heights.  She went on to further her education at San Antonio College and received a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She went on and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio studying Child Development.
Courtney began her career in Fashion Merchandising while working at Frost Brothers in San Antonio. A couple of years later she decided to combine her talents and add to her knowledge the field of Cosmetology.  She embarked on a lifelong career which led her to many cities while traveling, she met many new friends throughout her life, and she was as passionate about her career after 30 years as she was the day she began. Over three decades she worked for many Cosmetic Lines & Brands representing their Companies & products including Estee Lauder, Chanel, Joe Malone & IT just to name a few.  She was a member of the team at the Sephora in The Biltmore Scottsdale. She had a brief move to another Sephora in Wichita, Kansas before moving back to Phoenix. She was currently working at San Tan Village as Covid-19 hit our country.
Courtney was an adventurer and loved to travel. She loved life and was always looking forward. She loved our God, was proud to be a Texan & loved the United States of America.  She was a good Catholic who loved her faith.  Courtney had a rewarding and fulfilling life. Her accomplishments, her colleagues love for her and her love for her fellow colleagues say it all.  Many of her friends have said she was their ray of sunshine, their angel & their best friend. She was kind, loving, giving and caring to all that knew her.
Sissy you will be truly missed every moment of every day. I will always love you. Your family will always love you as well as your friends & colleagues around the country. We will always love you. God Bless you Sissy. We will all see you again someday at the beach.
