Mary Alice Snyder

Mary Snyder, 87, beloved mother, grandmother and friend was called to her eternal resting place on May 16, 2020. She was born on June 24, 1932 in Hiawatha, KS, to Robert and Glendora (Shackelton) McVicker.

Mary was a longtime member of the Lytle community and the United Methodist Church of Lytle where she taught children's Bible classes and worked at the food pantry and thrift store. She was very active in the women's book club and enjoyed playing Bunco. Mary loved to travel and do just about anything with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all who know and loved her.

Mary is survived by her sons; Greg and wife Julie Snyder, David and wife Linda Snyder and Jeff and wife Cindy Snyder; brothers, Ben and Robert McVicker; grandchildren, Stephanie McKee, John C. Snyder, Bridgett N. Sanchez, Amy E. Snyder, Jennifer A. Snyder, John and wife Brittany Snyder, Robbie and wife Melanie Vaughan, Bethany Dunlap and Bradley and wife Arlene Dickson and great-grandchildren, Zachary A. McKee, Blair Alice Snyder, Evie B. McKee, Brody Snyder, Blair Snyder, Braden Vaughan, Bailey Vaughan, Piper Vaughan and Pressli Dunlap as well as a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie H. Snyder and her sister Judy.
