Pablo "Chagie" Medrano, Jr.

On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Pablo “Chagie” Medrano Jr. entered eternal rest at the age of 88, in Poteet, Texas.

He was born in Poteet, TX, on November 27, 1932. He is preceded in death by his parents Pablo Medrano Sr and Luz Maria Vargas Medrano.

Pablo was a loving family man who was married to the love of his wife, Irene, for 68 years and together they raised five children. Pablo worked construction for most of his adult life and was proud to have his three sons work by his side. He loved his daughters and always was there to lend a helping hand when needed. He loved to visit with family and friends to share a good laugh and made the best memories. He was the happiest when surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Irene G. Medrano, sons Robert Medrano Sr, Ray Medrano Sr (wife Stella), and Roy Medrano (wife Denise), daughters RoseMary Davila (Albert) and Letty Carrasco (husband Richard), grandchildren Jennifer M. Guyton (husband Jim), Robert Medrano Jr (wife Valerie), Ray Medrano Jr (wife Lynn), Crystal Carrasco, Desiree Boyer (husband Chris), Justin Carrasco (wife Chelsea), Beverly Ann Medrano (partner Kevin) Jasmin Medrano, Miranda Santos, Roy Paul “Rj” Medrano, great-grandchildren Joshua Garza, Samantha Garza, Alex Garza, Ephany Medrano, Elizabeth Medrano, Anthony Garcia, Jaxon Garcia, Makayla Medrano, Jacob Medrano, Justin Carrasco Jr. Robbie Ochoa, Zoey Ochoa, Joshua Ochoa, and great-great-grandchild Nicholas Garza.

Visitation will be on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 9:30am followed by a Rosary at 10:00am in the chapel of Hurley Funeral Home before laying Pablo to rest at Concepcion Cemetery in Cole Mine, TX.
