Pedro Chavera

Pedro Chavera, 66, passed away on December 19, 2020 in Pearsall. He was born on March 1, 1954 in Denison, Texas] to parents Benito Chavera and Maria Perez Chavera.

Pedro was preceded in death by his common-law wife Alamar DeLeon; his parents two sons, Buddy Chavera and Benny Chavera and two brothers, Ruben Chavera and Johnny Chavera.

Pedro is survived by his siblings; Jesse Chavera, David Chavera, Gilbert Chavera, Danny Chavera, Gloria Vela and Aurora Palacios; three childre, Peggy, Christina and Grace.

Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 9:00PM Tuesday, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00pm in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Wednesday, December 23rd in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Frio County Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Luis Chavera, Adam Chavera, Joe Vela Jr., Eddie Chavera, Grey Chavera, Eric Chavera David Chavera Jr, and Aaron Palacios.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the CORONA-19 Pandemic, Face coverings or masks will be required, and social distancing observed.
