Peggie J. Shinn Perez, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born on August 24, 1943, to parents Harry and Wilma Darby, in Irving, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Wilma Darby; first husband Howard Shinn; stepdaughter Andrea Shinn; and sister Sherry Oliver.

Peggie is survived by her husband Ricky R. Perez; children Curt Greer (Brenda), Brandi Stidham (Sean), stepchildren Rick David Perez (Rena Morales), Erica Chapman (William), Danielle L. Henriquez (Victor), Kim Chivian (Robert), Howard Shinn, Jr.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; brother Terry Darby (Katy), numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
