Phillip E. Buckles

Phillip E. Buckles, born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 20, 1951, passed away at the age of 71 on August 1, 2023. He is survived by his wife Wendy of 48 years, his two sons Matthew, and Seth, two grandchildren, sister Vikki Riley and husband of Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was a veteran of 20 years with the United States Coast Guard. Phillip and his wife enjoyed many great years of team roping, and Phil drove a truck after retiring from USCG. He recently retired from truck driving in February of this year. 

Phillip will be buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, and will be greatly missed.
