ROMANA PENA SANCHEZ, 98, passed away on June 15, 2020 in Pearsall, TX. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Frio County Texas.
ROMANA was preceded in death by her husband MACARIO SANCHEZ , mother, LUISA MARTINEZ - daughters, ALMA GARZA and CORRINA RENDON one son, ROBERTO (PIE) SANCHEZ and one great-granddaughter, MELISSA IRIS GUTIERREZ.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law HILBERTO (YOLANDA) SANCHEZ of Prairie View, IL;- daughters and sons-in-law MARIA (ROY) BLACK and SYLVIA (JAIME) LECHUGA of Pearsall; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th with a Rosary at 7:00PM in the chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Saturday, June 20th in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with interment to follow in the Catholic West Cemetery , Pearsall, Texas.
