Rosa G. Alaquinez born December 1, 1933 in Bigfoot, Texas passed away October 8, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.

She is survived by husband, Chano Alaquinez III; son, Roland Chavera and wife, Elide; daughters, Alamar C. Fernandez; Rosario Chavera; granddaughters, Veronica Gonzales and husband, Ray; Roxi Ramirez and husband, Henry; Elleana Casias and husband, Arthur; Valerie Segura, Lorena Chavera; great-grandchildren, Damian Gonzales and wife, Alexis; Henry Ramirez, Jr.; Jacob Casias , Analia Casias; great-great-grandson, Kaiden Gonzales; brother, Joe Sanchez and wife, Lucy; sisters, Emma Perez and husband, Monseis; Mary Gallegos, numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Leeroy Alaquinez; parents, Inez and Isabel Sanchez; brothers, Polo Sanchez; Mingo Sanchez; Jesse Sanchez; Robert Sanchez; sister, Elvira Puente.

 Visitation will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 2:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 11, 2019 11:00 A.M. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Devine, Texas with internment in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
