Rose Dela Garcia

Rose Dela Garcia, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away on March 20, 2024, in San Antonio, TX at the age of 60. Born on December 31, 1963, Rose was known for her fun spirit, positive attitude, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Rose will be deeply missed by her children Ramon Garcia III, Melissa Sunberg (Pat), Tracy Townsend, and her only grandson Maverick. She is survived by her siblings Ramon Rios, Joseph "Joey" Rodriguez, Daniel "Rudy" Rodriguez, Joe "Little" Larios, Rachel Rodriguez, Lupe Campos, Elizabeth Perez, Josie Villanueva, Gloria Perry, and Josie Bawek and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Ramon C. Garcia Sr., parents Pedro and Luisa Rodriguez, her husband Ramon Garcia, her siblings Ronald "Ronnie" Rodriguez, Peter Rodriguez, Richard "Rick" Rodriguez, Mary Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, and her granddaughter Ava-Marie Caasi.

A Family Viewing in memory of Rose Garcia will take place at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine on April 4, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Following this, a Mass to honor her life will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devine on April 5, 2024, at 10:00 am. Service will conclude at the Church.

Pallbearers: Jo Ann Perez, Valorie Campos, Veronica Campos- Sanchez, Jewel Villanueva, Tyra Harrison, Josefa Clark.

During this time of grief, our family would like to thank everyone who reached out or offered a helping hand, the love and support has been a blessing in a dark time.  Roses's kindness and love will forever be remembered and cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
