Rosendo Saenz

Rosendo Saenz, age 61 of Pearsall, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 27,

 2021, in Kyle, Texas.

He was born in Beeville, Texas on August 16, 1959, to Cosme Saenz and Norma Riggs. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roberto Isabel “Bob” Saenz, Samuel Saenz, and his uncle, PFC Herschel M. Riggs.

Rosendo is survived by his Children, Rosendo Saenz II, Nadia Olivo, Norma Yarrito, and Vanessa Saenz; brother, Herschel Marvin Saenz; sisters, Lilly Saenz, Liviar Hernandez; several grandchildren; Ex-wives, Rose Saenz-Gutierrez, Evangelina Saenz, Delia Yvette Saenz, and his step-children.

Rosendo graduated from the Pan Am University with an associate's degree in Nursing. For 34 years, Rosendo served the community and passionately cared for many people as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room Department of Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Tx for the majority of his career. Rosendo was very loved and respected by his peers in his field. He retired after faithfully serving as a Registered Nurse for 34 years. 

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 12, 2021, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall.
